Frameless shower glass

Shower Screens & Frameless Glass

A shower screen is made-to-measure glass, not a kit. We measure the bathroom on site, allow for the fall and the out-of-square that every wall has, and cut 10mm toughened glass to fit it cleanly.

Shower Screens & Frameless Glass by Paneline Glass & Glazing
Scope

What this job includes.

  • Frameless, semi-frameless and framed shower screens in 10mm toughened safety glass
  • Measured on site for the fall, the tiles and the out-of-square, so the seal is clean
  • Quality hinges, channels and hardware that hold the glass without rattling loose
  • All glass to AS 1288, supplied and installed, fixed in writing before we order
Our system: We measure after the tiling is done, never off a plan, because a few millimetres of out-of-square is the difference between a screen that seals and one that leaks. The glass is made to that measure.
How we quote it

A fixed price per pane, in writing.

We measure the opening on site, name the glass grade the Standard calls for, and fix the price per pane before we order. No callout fee bolted on after, no 'from' price that grows.

The 7-line quote
  1. 1 A qualified glazier answers, 24/7. Day or night, you speak to the glazier who will do the work, not a call centre that takes a message and hopes someone rings back.
  2. 2 Same-day board-up. We secure and weatherproof the opening today, so the home or shop is safe overnight while the new glass is made to size.
  3. 3 Measured on site, made to size. The opening is measured on site and the glass cut to fit it, toughened or laminated to AS 1288 where the standard calls for safety glass. Never a stock panel forced into an opening it was not cut for.
  4. 4 A fixed price per pane, in writing. The price for each pane, the glass, the labour and the board-up, fixed in writing before we order. No callout fee bolted on after, no "from" price that grows once the job is booked.
If a quote doesn’t show these lines, you can’t compare it, and you don’t know what’s been cut.
How it runs

Same-day board-up

We secure and weatherproof the opening today, so the home or shop is safe and dry while the new glass is made to measure.

3

Measured and made to size

We measure the opening on site and make the glass to fit it, toughened or laminated to AS 1288 where the standard calls for safety glass.

Fitted on a named day

We come back, fit the made-to-measure glass on the day we promised, clean up and take the boards away.

5

A lifetime workmanship guarantee on the install, and the glass to Australian Standard, named on the invoice.

Insured, covered, guaranteed

The paperwork behind the price.

Public liability to $20M, and a Lifetime workmanship guarantee, all in writing, all on request.

We carry a NSW contractor licence and public liability cover to $20M, and we glaze to AS 1288 so the safety glass an opening needs is the glass that goes in, with the grade named on the invoice. The install is backed by a lifetime workmanship guarantee in writing. Ask us for the licence and the glass grade before you pay a deposit.

The cover, the guarantee, and how to check each one.

Questions, answered

Shower Screens & Frameless Glass: common questions.

What is the difference between frameless and semi-frameless?
Frameless uses thicker 10mm toughened glass held by minimal hinges and clamps, for a clean, open look with no top or side frame. Semi-frameless keeps a slim frame on some edges for support at a lower price. Both use toughened safety glass to AS 1288. We will show you which suits the bathroom and the budget.
How long does a new shower screen take?
We measure on site once the tiling is finished, then the glass is made to size and we install it, usually within one to two weeks of the measure. We give you the fitting day in writing when you order, and the price is fixed before the glass is cut.
